R2 Highlighted Features - Releasing Mid-March 08
Sharing a NetBinder without a password!
Wow ... NetBinders offer a simple and quick, yet secure way to share and collaborate on documents. Many of you use them on a
daily basis. Although you recognize the importance of security and being able to authorize who gets to view the enclosed documents,
issuing passwords have been a pain at times ... people delete their email, spam filters gobble it up, they are too "complicated"
for some, and the list goes on ...Well, we've listened. We now give you an option when adding users to access a NetBinder by choosing 1) the traditional method of establishing a new user account, or 2) sharing the NetBinder privately without a password. Yes, that is correct. What happens is a personal URL will be generated and emailed to this person when you use the Notify option. The recipient
can use this URL to access only this NetBinder without entering a username and password. It's a personal token just for that
user so you will still have knowledge via the Histories when and what actions the users have performed. Cool ... let us know
what you think.Creating section headings in a NetBinder Want to group your documents in a NetBinder into sections with your own headers? How do I copy the Document's URL? In addition to selecting the web address or URL on the document's profile page, you can now check the box next to any document, then select under Marked Items>Option Options>View document URL. The document's unique URL will be displayed plus an option to select a Copy URL button which will allow you to go anywhere to Paste that URL such as a Word document or in an email. When you click on that URL it will directly open the document (after securely logging in if required). Want to email a DeltaView Attachment easier? You are a lawyer who often sends back to your client the revisions you have made. After running a DeltaView comparison in NetDocs, wouldn't it be great with a click of a button to email the DeltaView attachment together with the official version of the document it is attached to? New Rounded Menu Tabs - oh so cool ... We want our menu tabs to stand out! How do they look now? |
