A Path of Dependable Innovation in the 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™

Have you seen this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms (CSPs)? In entirety, the report takes about an hour to read, but it’s worth it. And, because most of the report is dedicated to providing overviews, strengths, and cautions for each vendor, it’s easy to skip to the sections you’re most interested in.
“Gartner defines content services platforms (CSPs) as the foundational component in an organization for the management and use of content. CSPs provide a way for employees to retrieve and work with content in a modern, seamless way across devices and organizational boundaries. As such, they are a core component of any organization’s digital workplace strategy.”
NetDocuments was recognized for both completeness of our vision and ability to execute, which we believe means we’re delivering on our promise of dependable innovation that’s trusted by law firms, legal teams, and government around the world.
It’s All About Our Strengths
We feel that our acknowledgement by Gartner was rooted in our strengths, including:
- Innovative Integrations with Microsoft: NetDocuments has been working closely with the team at Microsoft since our founding in 1999. Between back-end functionality and front-end solutions, we work hard to close the gaps between standard business tools and legal functionality. In fact, over the last year, our customers have seen improvements with ChatLink, upgrades to Office integrations, new functionality with email and M365, as well as an explosion of use cases with the Microsoft Power Automate utility. All of this has resulted in better, faster, more efficient work processes for our customers.
- Extensive Collaboration through Email: NetDocuments remains in tune with the legal community. We understand that not everyone is using the Microsoft Outlook desktop application for email any longer. As a result, in the last year we have updated our desktop integration, added functionality to the Outlook web version of our integration, and created a brand new add-on for Google Gmail. We continue to drive toward feature parity, so customers receive a consistent experience when working between devices and environments.
- Cloud-First, Cloud-Only: Providing a true native cloud platform has been a cornerstone of the company since the beginning. You’ll see it in our selection of new acquisitions and integrations, the productivity tools we develop, and our continual investment into maintaining the highest levels of security, performance, and reliability for our customers.
Find Out More
Organizations are looking to modern, cloud-based solutions as part of their larger digital transformation strategies. When you’re evaluating a new CSP, it’s important to know it will support your long-term plans and integrate well with the tools your people already use daily — such as email and Microsoft Office 365.
NetDocuments’ deep, native integrations with Microsoft (recently highlighted during the NetDocuments Inspire conference as well as its Microsoft Power Automate-focused Hackathon), increasingly attract customers away from our competition. In a marketplace where providers are playing catch-up to offer legal teams proven cloud solutions, NetDocuments delivers an undeniable value proposition based on its true cloud-native, multi-tenant platform.
