Prior to moving in-house from private practice, John was an attorney with Jones Day and Paul Hastings. In addition, John held senior legal positions at Ivanti and Route, where he led global legal teams and navigated complex regulatory landscapes to support rapid growth and international expansion. His deep expertise in SaaS, data privacy, and cybersecurity law has been instrumental in aligning NetDocuments’ legal strategies with its business goals, helping the company maintain its reputation as a trusted leader in cloud-based document and content management solutions.
John’s leadership is defined by a proactive approach to risk management and a strong focus on enabling business innovation while ensuring compliance with evolving legal and regulatory requirements. John holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Brigham Young University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Brigham Young University.
